Catalogue is a creative practice established in 2011 by Oliver Shaw and Tom Pratt, operating between NYC and the UK, working internationally. Catalogue specialize in graphic design, editorial and book design, web design / development, art direction and visual identity systems. Catalogue’s work has been extensively published in print and online, selected platforms include Vogue Magazine, Printed Pages, It’s Nice That, Haw-Lin, Arkitip Online, and I-D Magazine, to name a few.
Catalogue regularly take part in lecture programs including the Projektill Program at the Bauhaus Institute, Weimar and The New School Editorial Concepts Program, New York City.
Catalogue also self publishes books, magazines, zines and products through Catalogue Library. As of 2019, Catalogue Library has published over 150 unique titles by a selection of carefully curated artists. Self-publishing projects have resulted in over 30 solo and group exhibitions across the UK, Europe and USA, annually taking part in the Printed Matter Inc. New York and LA Art Book Fairs. Catalogue runs popular design and publishing reference blog Back Catalogue which to date, has over 50,000 followers and is updated weekly.
